[Essentially Ours] re: possible cat poisoning
Hi Adele,
I am so sorry to hear this story.
Firstly I would take take this very seriously and advise for your friend to
contact the RSPCA or animal protection immediately and notify them of the
concern and that the vet suspects it was poisoning. They will likely
investigate and if it is the neighbor it will scare the neighbor from doing
anything more.
Secondly, when my cat ate some flowers which had pesticides on it it nearly
killed her. The couldn't eat or even drink water and barely could move. I
used Digize and Juvaflex on the nape of her neck and although she lost a lot
of weight after about a week she recovered. With cats the oils must be
diluted. I put 1/2 a drop or so in my palm with massage oil and then
applied it to the nape of her neck.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'll do whatever I can to help.
Be well,
Monique
