I've tried one a friend made and it did have a creamier lather it felt
really nice on my skin, and I thought even tho it wasn't as bubbly as
this lady's normal bar (hi Vickie) it was still plenty of lather, so
contacting the soaper you got it from is a good idea.

I'm a soaper too and I'd like to try making a salt bar but just
haven't had a chance to do it myself. After this I'll definitely have
to try it out--up here in North Central Wisconsin we have naturally
soft water for the most part so it's not a bad place to try something
like this out.
