[Essentially Ours] Reply: Warning - some antibiotics cause tendon ruptures
Dear Oiler Friends:

Be forewarned: Some antibiotics can also trash your liver. If they
 don't, they can
at LEAST alter how your body processes sugars/carbs and can make you
 fat! We all
know about the flora being killed off, but there's tons more going on
 with antibiotics.
Like for example, often a person who has developed the loss of sense of
 smell
from antibiotics has become zinc deficient from said usage. That can
 set you up
for inadvertently developing cadmium poisoning if the deficiency is very
 strong.

Cadmium is in the same column of the periodic table as zinc, meaning it can
attach itself to the receptors in place of (beneficial) zinc and poison
 you instead!
I know, because this happened to me big time. I also developed
 osteoporosis from
the cadmium kicking the zinc I take out of my body. Now zinc doesn't
 absorb
well, so neither does the calcium and any other minerals that are
 necessary "cofactors" !

So, what's a body to do? Give your body enough extra zinc to combat
 this syndrome of
sorts, eat raw, organic pumpkin seeds and any other foods that have lots
 of zinc, and don't take
antibiotics unless there is absolutely NO other option. (We all know
 there is, it's the OILS!)

Don't forget that inexpensive lil ol' zinc is the no. 1 prevention for
 prostate cancer, too!

Best to all, and /*glad */to be back
home and online again at last!

P.S. From Google search: Good zinc food sources aside from meats are
dairy products such as milk and cheese, yeast, peanuts,
beans, and wholegrain cereals, brown rice, whole wheat bread, potato and
yogurt. Of all these vegetarian zinc foods, pumpkin seeds
offer one of the most concentrated non-meat food sources of zinc. On the
other hand, the zinc you get from eating meat is four times
more bio-available than in grain foods.
