Young Living Essential OIL

Dear Group,

My new distributor thought she was breaking out from a reaction to the oils but it turns out to be lice. HELP!! What is a natural treatment? I suggested Purification. She is going to wash everything in Thieves cleaner and spray the mattresses.

I read on line to use Rosemary Shampoo? What about animal scents shampoo?

Hi LeAnne, lice are fairly easy to get rid
of using essential oils. The recipe is
lemon, rosemary and geranium (the one I used
with my girls, anyway) and then we started
spritzing their brushes with lemon oil and
water in a spray bottle for prevention. I
don't remember the exact drops, but I'd say
in a couple ounces of olive oil, put in 5
or 6 drops of each oil. Comb through the
hair, and wrap in a towel to protect pillow,
leave on overnight. I'd get a lice comb
and comb through really well with the oils
still on the head, and then shampoo well.
I'd repeat this every few days for a week
or so. You have to wash the hair quite a
bit to get the oil out, but it beats the
poisons that other people use, which don't
even work that well. Search the archives
