[oils_herbs_etc] Jewell Weed plants for trade in USA
Hi folks,
I have excess jewell weed plants this year and thought I would offer some for trade.
If you want Jewell Weed on your property and have sufficient shade areas that have rich humus and have something to trade, let me know and I'll get some sent out to you early next week. Mine is in a built up garden by the shade side of the house with built up dirt and supplemented organically with composted manure and oak leaves. They will grow in the woods too with partial sun. I've even seen them grown in rocks but with organic humus from the woods. They just don't like a lot of Sun, but have to have some.
This is only good for the US due to time it takes to get there. Supposedly they transplant well when smaller. I have transplanted full grown ones before and had a fairly good success rate in the heat of the Summer. I should have enough to share with 2-3 folks.
Will even write up a note to tell you a bunch about how to cultivate them, etc.
My wish list for trades? Thai pepper plants, any medicinal rare herb that I don't have already, my number one wish is for Potato onion sets. These are bigger than a shallot, produce in multitudes underground like a shallot, the red skin one preferrably, but I sure would love to have a start of them. Will even trade for a nice soap or finished product.
Send a note if interested to dsfrogger@yahoo.
Have a great week-end,
deb
