Young Living Essential OIL

Hi Fran and everybody!
I created a set of educational cards for my aromatherapy training studies. I
put 66 single essential oils on 4x6 cards in beautiful full-color, different
for each oil card. I used them as study tools, handy reference guides, and
resources for essential oil classes.

I find my card deck to be a great teaching tool when working with new folks!
When blends are being considered for instance, I pull out the single oil
cards for it. For Aroma Life I would pull out cypress, marjoram, helichrysum
and ylang ylang cards. Then I use them to show the various properties and
indications of the oils in the blend, as well as introduce the concept of
synergy to demonstrate the magnified potential of single oils when combined
in a blend.

The card for each essential oil shows:
Common name and botanical name;
Family it belongs to, AKA names, part of the plant distilled or cold
pressed, chemo types if any;
Names and percentages of chemical compounds with the most therapeutic
underlined;
Oil properties and application, emotional and spiritual aromatic
influence; any cautions.

My references were David Stewart's The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made
Simple, Linda Smith's Essential Oils for Physical Health & Well-Being,
Connie & Allen Higley's Reference Guide for Using Essential Oils, and
Valerie Ann Worwood's The Fragrant Heavens.

PIP color photographs of essential oils, which Valerie Ann Worwood charted
in her book, inspired my color choices for each essential oil card.

In addition to an Index, the deck contains two helpful Bonus Cards. They
are:
1. Description of the 3 important hydrocarbons of the Terpene family of
compounds: Monoterpenes; Sesquiterpenes; and Phenolics/Ketones.
2. Blending guideline percentages by essential oil for each of them.

My EO decks are for both new and longtime oilers ~ casual, professionals and
serious students alike. On sturdy cardstock, the cards are chock full of
information that will support and increase your essential oil knowledge.
They can be 2-hole punched and put on a ring or placed in a photograph book
for handy usage.

I like to share them with others as I did my fellow students. If you're
