Swine Flu - Dont' Panic

The 1918 flu pandemic, commonly known as the Spanish flu, made the world panic. Since then, uncountable number of influenza cases appeared to craze the world.
Today, the Mexican swine flu, also known as Influenza A H1N1, is spreading around the world. Strict screening procedures are now being applied in borders, airports, and seaports, to prevent the flu from entering their countries. Many people are caught with symptoms of influenza and are placed in a quarantine.
The Mexican government as well as all governments of the world announced that there were thousands of suspected swine flu cases. However, many of them were afflicted by Russian flu, Hong Kong flu, etc., and were dismissed. Only a small number of people really contracted the Influenza A H1N1 virus.
If you read the world history, you will know that all of these diseases come in to the world just to disappear.
Is it not more serious to think about HIV/AIDS? The HIV virus is spreading around the world and the number of patients infected from HIV/AIDS is much more than swine flu patients. While the number of swine flu cases is about 1,000 worldwide, today there are about 25 million people living with HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa alone with an estimated deaths of 2 million during 2007 in that region.
All governments of the world may be with scholars of drug companies. These scholars are making the public panic and making huge amount of money by producing huge amount of drugs for poor people and poor countries!
Anyway, don't worry about swine flu. Don't panic. It will come and go. Just don't screw up your nose with your index finger, and use your face mask! By wearing a face mask, not only will it reduce your chances of virus infection, but it will also remind you not to touch your nose or mouth, which could otherwise transfer viruses and bacteria after you have touched a contaminated surface.
