Thank you very much for your reply. I will pass this information on to my niece. I have been giving them information on the oils for several months now but they haven't tried them yet. They are 100 miles from us and I was going to take them some today as they were ready to try anything. When I called they seemed to think she was better so will wait and see.

So sorry to hear about your niece. Vicki Opfer has said she has used grapefruit oil on the outer rim of her kids' ears (NEVER in the ear, any oil, ever : )) and then down the Eustacian tubes. I've done the same with R.C. (Esp down the Eustacian tubes) and both help a great deal for ear infections and congestion. Fresh lemon juice clears mucus in general, great first thing in am, I'd dilute with water for a child this young. HTH, Rachel
