[AlternativeAnswers] Want to add L. Acidophilus while treating with antibiotics for my 8 yr. old
Hi group. My daughter has to go on a short term antibiotic treatment and I want to giver her a probiotic while she is on it. I am just getting started in the entire alternative field and don't want to overwhelm myself. Does anyone know a good dosage for an 8 year old who is about 93lbs. She hasn't taken any probiotics to this point. I just feel like while she is on antibiotics that maybe I can help her a bit with probiotics. I read somewhere that 2-5 billion live cultures is an o.k. amount as I don't want overkill. So, I'm just not sure how much to give total daily and how to separate it out. Thanks so much for any help. Sara
